Background

Dr Kylie Arnot is a compassionate and gentle dentist with a unique background in both psychology and dentistry. She began her career with a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Sydney and worked as a psychologist before discovering her passion for oral health. Driven to make a difference in a more hands-on clinical setting, she pursued dentistry at Griffith University, graduating with distinction. Her academic excellence was recognised with multiple awards, including:

  • Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation Student Scholarship
  • Colgate Award for Commitment and Dedication to Rural, Remote and Indigenous Oral Health
  • Griffith Award for Academic Excellence

Dr Kylie has a strong commitment to community and volunteer work. She helped establish a volunteer dental clinic for the Indigenous community in Cherbourg, Queensland, and delivered oral health education to rural schools. She has also provided volunteer dental care internationally at the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia—experiences that have shaped her deeply empathetic, service-oriented approach to care.

With a warm and approachable manner, Dr Kylie creates a relaxed, supportive environment for her patients. Her background in mental health helps her provide exceptional care to those with dental anxiety, and she takes pride in making each visit calm and stress-free.

Dr Kylie has a special interest in children’s dentistry and is passionate about giving kids a positive start to lifelong oral health. She focuses on prevention, education, and minimally invasive techniques to build healthy habits and confident smiles.

Outside the clinic, Dr Kylie enjoys family time and staying active within the Lithgow community.
